This product highlight goes to the Loreal Infallible 24 hour eye shadows. What a pleasant surprise these shadows have been. After hearing about these periodically throughout the year I finally had to try them for myself. I have been looking for some type of creamy long-wearing eye shadows for my makeup artist kit that didn’t cost an arm and a leg and boy am I glad I took a chance on these! I have Maybelline’s long wear color tattoo cream shadows but I wanted more of a rich varied color range and I found that in these. Better yet, they run approximately $7.99 a piece and lucky me the Walgreen’s in my area had them on sale for buy one get one half off. Needless to say, I got them all.
There are not enough good things I can say about these shadows. They are kind of a cream to powder consistency and are crazy pigmented. There are shimmers and mattes form pastel neutrals to rich deep shimmery emeralds, purples, and garnets. Some of my favorites are “Bronzed Taupe” ; a shimmery deep silver brown, “Glistening Garnet” ; rich deep shimmering red, and “Golden Emerald”; a deep glowing green. There is little fallout with these and they truly are long-wearing. It takes soap and water to get them completely off. So if you’re in the market for some great long-wearing shadows that won’t break the bank, I would definitely give these a shot!
