In keeping with the highlighter focus series (as well as feeding my highlighter addiction to the point I’ve now arrived at by making it a permanent “focus” instead of just a “series”) this “Highlighter Focus” blog post is showcasing a few highlighters from a brand partly well known for their creative highlighters (and one of the brands carrying the beautiful original rainbow colored highlighters that many brands claim to have created first ) called “Devinah Cosmetics.” They are “Pumpkin King” (from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas), “Blood Orange”, and “Cornucopia”. “Pumpkin King” is a sheer pale orangey-yellow shade with swirls of an off white shimmery “pearl iridescence” running throughout it and imprinted with decorative floral looking swirls. It is very smooth and buttery to the touch as all good makeup products should be and goes with the festive seasonal colors for fall. It can also be used as an eyeshadow. “Blood Orange” is very unique and a color of highlighter I have never seen before. It is a dark, shimmery, chocolate color with red reflects. It is a limited edition shade that was created for Halloween specifically. “Cornucopia” is a golden, and beige-orange shimmery highlight. All of them are original and wonderfully creative as are the other products they carry. I had never heard of this beauty brand before but they have all kinds of pressed shadows/highlighters, blushes, blush toppers, liquid lipsticks, and facial oils in creative themes based on movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice In Wonderland, Snow White, and Cinderella, etc…, as well as magical mythical creatures such as fairies, elves, and Greek characters like Persephone. I haven’t tried any of their other products, but so far I like what I have and would definitely purchase more!
