Highlighter Focus: Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Highlighter Palette

The new highlighter palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills and collaboration with Nicole Guerriero that launched in February is one that I definitely wanted to purchase because of how beautiful it looked having the highlighter colors that are in it that are right up my alley.  The colors are gorgeous as well as being very pigmented consisting of the creamy buttery smooth that everyone loves and hopes to have in a highlighter or makeup products that is so nice to apply, work with, and blend on the face.  They are in the light pink, golden, bronzey shade range with an icy-white pearly shade called “Forever Lit” that is also beautiful.  The shades are “Kitty Kat” (a golden-pink) “Daydream” (an orangey-pink), “Glowgetter” (a golden-bronze), and my favorites called “Forever Young” (a pinky-gold glow and reminds me of Stila’s “Kitten” eye shadow) and “143” (a true gold shine) that are in my opinion the most beautiful of the palette.  They all have a bit of sparkle in them which is really pretty (and not the kind of chunky glittery sparkle that no one likes that has powdery fly away) that adds an extra pretty glow to them while having some pretty good staying power on the skin because of the pigmentation and formula.  They all apply really nicely and smoothly to the skin with a soft glow whether using a small light highlight amount or the “bam” you can be seen from space highlight look when applied with a heavier application.

The packaging is a nice sturdy cardboard covered in a glossy pink enamel with the Anastasia Beverly Hills logo embossed on it and Nicole Guerriero’s name imprinted on it in a rainbow foil effect.  The product pans have a good amount of product in them and the palette runs for $40.00.  In my opinion it is one of the most beautiful Glow Kits yet and certainly rivals the others from Anastasia’s beauty line.  Congratulations to both Anastasia and Nicole Guerriero!

      1. I’ve tried using golden highlighters, and they just don’t look right on me. Cool toned highlighters look a lot better on me. Hopefully I’ll get a tan this summer, and I’ll be able to use more warm toned highlighters 🙂
