Valentines Day Highlighter Focus & Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills “Sugar Glow Kit”

Anastasia’s Sugar Glow Kit launched this past holiday season and I am just now doing a review on it, but thought with the Valentines Day holiday it would be a good time and an appropriately colored palette in shades of pink and gold toned highlighters to do now for a holiday Valentine’s Day look.

This palette is the 4th in the Anastasia “Glow Kit” line and I think one of the prettiest that has come out so far.  It is another quad palette palette with four highlighter shades with a kind of a “Sugar Plum Fairy” feel to it and an original holiday palette with shades like “Marshmallow” (a toasty light golden described by Anastasia as a white pearl), “Gumdrop” (a rose golden duochrome ABH says is a “duchrome pink lilac), “Butterscotch” (a camerly tan-gold ABH describes as a “honey gold”), and “Starburst” (a soft light cotton candy baby-pink ABH describes as an “icy pink”).

The highlighters are described as “metallic powder highlighters for intense luminosity” with “buildable metallic lustre” that can be used alone or layered together for low or high glow and mixing or matching to your perfect highlight shade.  They can be used wet or dry, face or body, or used with hydrating oils for an all over body glow.  They (as all the Anastasia glow kits and most highlighters are) very pigmented and buttery smooth.  The palette is priced at $40.00 with 0.26 ounces of product and of pretty good pan amount size.

I think Anastasia has hit another home run with this palette and think it is perfect for the Valentines Day holiday makeup look of your choice or any makeup look you decide to use it for no matter what festivity or season!
