New Makeup Focus: The Lorac Cosmetics “Vintage Glamour” Pro Eyeshadow Palette

Lorac Cosmetics has always been one of my favorite makeup brands so when I first saw the pictures of this new “Vintage Glamour” Pro Eyeshadow Palette from Lorac it I was immediately excited.

Lorac Cosmetics has such great quality makeup that I love and have also purchased for my professional kit especially loving the “Unzipped” and the “Pro Palette 3” for bridal makeup for the soft pink-nude romantic and neutral shades they have. The eyeshadow formula in their palettes has always been buttery, smooth, and pigmented that also blend really well.

The new “Vintage Glamour” Pro Eyeshadow Palette (another in the “Pro Palette” series) has vintage kind of old Hollywood feel to it from the packaging with its black and silver floral pattern, to the eyeshadow shades that have fun Hollywood inspired names like “Curtain Call”, “Glitz”, “Boulevard”, “Bardot”, and “Cinema”. There are 16 shadows in the palette that are sultry light and dark neutral tones and shimmers (the entire top row which is exciting for me since I’m a shimmer freak) and plenty of room to create so many different looks with. My favorite shades are “Chiffon” (a light beige-champagne shimmer), “Sequin” an antique silver shimmer), “Glitz” (a dark chocolate-brown shimmer) and for the mattes “Cinema” (a milk chocolate-brown), “Sunset” (a medium warm-brown), and “Studio” (a light cream) with the last shade being “Lavish” (a deep auburn-brown) which is actually a more satin shade and a unique one to the palette.

This palette is an absolutely gorgeous (for those that love shimmers they will go crazy over all the beautiful ones in this palette) and a lot of fun to play with for all kinds of looks including trying to replicate some old glamour and glitz looks from the day of old Hollywood cinema!
