About Me

Hello! Welcome to The Beauty Focus! I am a professional freelance makeup artist and beauty blogger. I first fell in love with makeup when I worked for Clinique Cosmetics working with the color and creativity of the makeup as well as how much I love the result of making people look and feel beautiful. After some health and life changes I decided to pursue it again and get my certification in makeup artistry. My blog is mostly about makeup (I'm working on a sperate site for my makeup artistry portfolio) but also includes skincare, bath & spa, etc..., with a little bit of what else I see through my eyes as beautiful mixed in, and of course all things related to beauty. 😩😢Oh how I miss my old kit products that got stolen sometimes! Some things I can replace, and some I’ll never see again. But, the fun part, shopping for new makeup and skincare, etc…! 🎉Whoohoo! 🎉I definitely shed a couple of tears. Some must have, old classics I can’t part with that I have plus new makeup that’s come out since my pro kit was taken, and definitely keeping it insured with my wonderful insurance company! The coward, stalker, thieves may think they’ve stopped me, but all they did was delay things. My mua classes for certification are almost done. I am gonna make it!!! No one can keep you from your dream! Get back up, dust yourself off, chin up, and keep going!!! Turn that hurt, anger, frustration, etc… into productiveness to make your dream happen.
